After Care Instructions

Proper care during the healing process will result in better pigmentation. Everyones skin heals differently and is a two step process. Results vary depending on skin type, amount of brow hairs, previous tattoo, lifestyle, and of course aftercare. It will typically take 7-10 days for brows to heal and true color will appear once the scabs have exfoliated naturally. Pigment will fade 30%-40% lighter. Full natural results will appear after your complimentary touchup. During the healing process, please AVOID the following: -Application of any brow makeup for 10 days -Scratching or removal of scabs or dry skin, let skin exfoliate naturally. Minimal scabbing flaking and dryness of the skin is normal after the first few days of the healing period. Removing prematurely will cause loss of pigment. -Activities that will cause sweating for 10 days. -Laser light therapy (can darken/lighten or distort pigment) -Tanning beds and sun exposure. When out in the sun for long periods of time wear a hat and sunglasses. (excess sun exposure and or tanning can cause premature fading) -Exfoliates, retinol acids or AHA's on the area for 30 days after the appointment (causes premature fading) -Massages, facials or skin treatments -Laying on your face

What is Microblading and Ombre Brows?

Microblading: Fine strokes are implanted to the epidermis of the skin using a handheld tool to create a hair like finish. The appearance is completely natural looking and blends with or without hair along the brow bone. It can typically last up to 1 year. Ombre Powder: It is another type of semi-permanent makeup, using a rotary pen with a single prong needle to insert pigment into the epidmeris and the dermis of the skin. This creates a misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of makeup. Ombre appears light at the start of the eyebrow then gradually darker towards the tail end of the brow. Heals to a soft and natural color. It can typically last up to 3 years.

Semi-Permanent Makeup is NOT recommended on clients who are or have:

-Under the age of 18 (letter of consent is required from parent/gaurdian) -Pregnant and/or nursing (as a precaution, we do not perform any cosmetic tattooing) -Diabetic -Skin diseases -Currently sick (cold, flu, etc) or taking antibiotics. -Irritations of the skin of any kind on the area of the procedure (pimples, rash, psoriosis, eczema, rosacea, sunburn) -Undergoing Chemotherapy (consult with your doctor) -Epilepsy -Had an organ transplant -A Pacemaker or major heart problems
